Innisfil is Alcona: the Lake Simcoe shoreline south of Barrie. Cottage country weekends and commuter weekdays: central Ontario lives in two gears, and the plan should handle both. If you are building a life in Innisfil, let us make a plan that fits it: education first, every conversation free.
Serving Innisfil and Simcoe County by phone and video.
Innisfil is Alcona: the Lake Simcoe shoreline south of Barrie, where cottage country weekends and commuter weekdays run in the same household. Alcona keeps growing into one of the larger lakeside communities in Simcoe County, while the villages and the shoreline keep the town's two-gear character: GO trains and highway commutes on weekdays, docks and beaches on weekends, and a lot of families building a first real house somewhere in between.
Two-gear life needs a plan that handles both speeds. A new-build mortgage, a commute, and young kids usually arrive within a few years of each other here, so the first job is protection that honestly matches what an income is carrying. Seasonal shoreline work and small business income swing through the year, which means coverage and savings sized to the dependable months, not the best ones. And with so many young families, the Disability Tax Credit and the RDSP come up early and often: a child who qualifies can build up to $90,000 in government grants and bonds inside an RDSP, and earlier almost always beats later.
I am based in Carleton Place and serve Innisfil by phone and video, so the conversation happens on a commuter's schedule, evenings included, with no drive attached. Everything from our first talk to signed documents is digital. Start with the free DTC and RDSP checkers on this site, then book a free conversation: education first, plain English, and zero pressure.
A broker works for you, not for one insurance company. That means choice across insurers, advice shaped around your life instead of a product shelf, and someone in your corner at claim time, when it matters most. Read the full broker vs agent breakdown.
Step one: book a free conversation below. Thirty minutes, zero pressure. Step two: we talk through your situation in plain English until you actually understand your options. Step three: you decide, with facts instead of salesmanship.
Conversations happen by phone or video, from my home base in Carleton Place. For Innisfil families that usually works better than an office ever could: we meet around commutes and kids' schedules, including evenings, and all the paperwork is digital. The service is complete: planning, follow up, and someone in your corner at claim time.
Protection for the income that pays the mortgage. If a paycheque stops because of illness, injury, or worse, everything else in the plan stops with it. We size that protection to your real budget, sometimes smaller than people expect, and build the rest in order as room opens up.
Start with the two free checkers on this site. The Disability Tax Credit checker asks 7 quick questions about how the CRA looks at eligibility, and the RDSP checker asks 4 quick questions about readiness, grants, and bonds. Both programs are federal, so the rules here are the same as anywhere in Canada, and your results give us a clear place to start talking.
Most conversations happen by phone or video, which is how I serve families across Canada. In-person meetings can be arranged when I am in the area.

Nothing. Bring your questions and an open mind. If it helps, jot down what keeps you up at night about money, we will start there.
