Cornwall is Ontario's eastern border city: bilingual families, Akwesasne next door, and manufacturing workers keeping the St. Lawrence economy moving. Two languages, one river, and money questions that deserve straight answers. I serve Cornwall families virtually, in English and with respect for both cultures.
Serving Cornwall and Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry counties by phone and video.
Cornwall is Ontario's eastern border city, sitting on the St. Lawrence River with Akwesasne next door and Quebec just across the bridge. It is a bilingual city in the everyday sense: French and English at the same kitchen table, families with roots on both sides of the river, and a working core of manufacturing, warehousing, and public sector jobs keeping the local economy moving. Money questions here deserve straight answers, in plain language, with respect for both cultures that share this city.
The questions themselves are practical. Plant and shift workers ask how their coverage holds up if health changes. Families supporting relatives in two provinces ask how benefits and estates actually work across those lines. And parents raising a child with a disability often have never been told that the Disability Tax Credit can unlock an RDSP carrying up to $90,000 in government grants and bonds, or that the credit can reach back up to 10 years. Those programs are federal, so the rules are exactly the same on the St. Lawrence as anywhere in Canada.
I am based in Carleton Place and serve Cornwall by phone and video. Conversations with me happen in English, and the key disability finance pages on this site, including the RDSP guide and both checkers, are published in French for family members who prefer to read in French. There is no Cornwall office and no sales pitch waiting at the end of a call: the education comes first, the first conversation is free, and you decide what happens next.
A broker works for you, not for one insurance company. That means choice across insurers, advice shaped around your life instead of a product shelf, and someone in your corner at claim time, when it matters most. Read the full broker vs agent breakdown.

Yes. The key disability finance pages on this site, including the RDSP guide and the DTC and RDSP checkers, are published in French, so a spouse, parent, or adult child can read everything in French before we talk. Conversations with me happen in English, and I am glad to go slowly and put everything in writing afterward.
No. I am based in Carleton Place and I serve Cornwall entirely by phone and video. Meetings, paperwork, and signatures are all handled digitally, and the service is the full service: the same education, the same follow up, and the same person in your corner at claim time as a family in my own hometown.
Start with the two free checkers on this site. The Disability Tax Credit checker asks 7 quick questions about how the CRA looks at eligibility, and the RDSP checker asks 4 quick questions about readiness, grants, and bonds. Both programs are federal, so the rules here are the same as anywhere in Canada, and your results give us a clear place to start talking.
Most conversations happen by phone or video, which is how I serve families across Canada. In-person meetings can be arranged when I am in the area.
Yes. You don't have to figure this out alone. I'm here to help you through every step.
Nothing. Bring your questions and an open mind. If it helps, jot down what keeps you up at night about money, we will start there.
